We started our morning in art class with Ms. Petty. I think she probably has some things for you to do at home, too. Here is a link to her web page: Shannon Petty's web page.
After art we came back to the classroom and corrected our homework from last Thursday. This is what it looks like, in case you want to try any doing any of the questions (or ALL of them!).

Then we learned about onomatopoeias.
That is a fancy word that means "sound word." They are words like "meow," "boom," "and "sniffle." You probably hear, read, and use onomatopoeias almost every day of your life!

We practiced writing opinion statements followed by three supporting reasons.
We learned to write cursive Nn.

We practiced the short o spelling pattern.

We listened to the reading of "Butterflies Big and Small" out of our Wonders textbook.
We started to fill in a Venn Diagram about butterflies to compare and contrast them. We will work on this again tomorrow.
